Who is Mrs. Sydalack

Hello,

My name is Mrs. Sydalack, and I have been the School Counselor at Locust for 11 years.

I love this school and my job as the counselor. I was born and raised in Stanly County. I attended East Carolina University for my undergraduate degree in Psychology and a minor in Child Development and Family Relations. I obtained my masters degree in Mental Health Counseling at Gardner-Webb University.

I have a husband, two beautifully-wild daughters (Lennox and Ardyn) and too crazy doodles Fynn and Tux. Our family loves to go on what we call, Sydalack Adventures. Whether it is camping, last minute day trips, or trips that come with some many obstacles, our time together is special.

You can contact me at [email protected] to the right or via 704-961-5507.

Attention Parents and Guardians,

Providence Church of God Backpack program is available to Locust students. These backpacks are filled with non-perishable food and snacks for Locust students that would benefit from supplemental nourishment over the weekend.

Backpacks are sent home on Thursdays and are dispensed in a discreet and caring manner.

To opt-in or for more information, please contact your child’s school counselor Mrs. Sydalack by August 23rd at 704-961-5507 or via email at [email protected]

The first backpack will go home on September 5th
